Since the EU has published an update to her sanctions on Burundi on 23 September 2025 (Decision 2025/1941 - Regulation 2025/1940), which removes the last entry for Burundi, the sanctions risk associated to Burundi can be changed to low. The EU still has the sanctions in place without targeting anyone. the UN, UK and US have no specific sanctions in place against Burundi.
The EU also published an update to her sanctions on Guinea-Bissau on 23 September 2024 (Decision 2025/1935 - Regulation 2025/19343), which removes the last 6 entries for Guinea-Bissau where the EU still has the sanctions in place without targeting anyone, the UK still has sanctions in place against certain people. Therefor rhe sanctions risk for Guinea-Bissau remains the same.
